Around the time when it started to get hard, I thought about what life really meant and why we were placed on this earth only to experience pain and loneliness. And then I realized how rare it is for anyone to experience life, and how small we are as a planet to be given an opportunity to not onl experience sadness, but also glorious joy. We live lives filled mostly with happiness, only we don't really realize it because we're so caught up in our own miseries that we forget how often we truly enjoy life. Things like hobbies, friends, family, relationships, nature... Who else in the universe gets to experience everything that we, as humans, do? It sucks that many of us go through terrible experiences in life like having bad parents, having no parents, or being abused by someone... But it's also important to understand that those things are what shape those affected into great, strong people capable of so much. Knowing, firsthand, what is bad of us as humans and to have a passion to fight for what is right.
I dunno... For the victim to be victimized is really a crappy feeling. But it comes with all sorts of perks, I'm not sure if I should complain about the bad things in the past anymore.
When I was getting picked on, I pent up a lot of anger until one day I just exploded with anger at each of those people who had poked fun at me. They stopped after that, and I'm glad you were able to combat the same problem.
But I hope you remember that physical fighting is only for times when you are physically assaulted in some way, and not to be used for "revenge" from hurtful words.
