I just have low self esteem.

Tears.
Emotions.

Butterflies and daffodils and happiness so pure

Hidden worlds and wonderlands of things they couldn't see
Shining gowns and silver crowns for dancing with the prince
Twirling with excitement, though the others weren't convinced

Dear intimidation, did you find it to be true
All I ever needed was an overdose of you
Silly stares and laughter slowly flood a child's mind
Making me abandon every daydream I could find
Lost beneath the shadows of the sky so dark and dead
Far too weak to turn around, yet scared of things ahead

I am a poet.
I am beautiful in my own way.
I am powerful.
I am unique.
I am special.

I am not crazy.
I am not worthless.
I am not brainwashed.

I am a human being.

I make mistakes. And I admit that.
I cause trouble, sometimes a lot of trouble.
I have a disorder that affects me day to day.
I don't think I'm perfect. In fact, I know I'm not.

I tolerate the ignorance.
I tolerate the pain.
I tolerate the hatred.
I tolerate the disgusted looks.

I accept the fact that I am different.

But can't you accept the fact that we're exactly the same?

This frame I live in can only hold me up for so long

The rain scent, the usual scenery
The dark surroundings, city light spreads
The sight of plane on my window

I grow weary by crying
Without any shoulder to cling on anymore
While mustering my last strength to walk
Memories of adolscence dreams drift slowly

Are that phrases still hold the meaning?
In the end, it's beyond my reach to decide

Just tell me I am a mistake
Laugh at me, pity me and turn your back
I am fed up with your sugarcoat words
Not even my thousand tears could make a change

No. I'm dying. I have to push myself to wake up in the morning, and when I finally do, I want to go back to sleep. Even my best dreams are becoming nightmares. I can't taste food, I can't stand the things I used to love. I'm breaking. I'm fading. I'm dying.

FearThe Dark Spot
Festering in the back of the mind.
Always present,
Always growing.
Expanding past irrational,
Devouring sanity piece by piece.
Reality shatters.
Poison enters the veins,
Pumping viciously through the heart.
Spreading.
Tremors ripple through the body,
Paralyzing the muscles.
Fear swallows the mind.
Tears at the flesh.
Heart explodes.
Blood pours.
Releasing the adrenalin.
RUN. FIGHT. SCREAM.
FEAR CONSUMES ALL.

I am Me. Who are You?I am thirteen years old.
I am not typical.
I am not average.
I am me.

I have been in two mental facilities.
Both times for thoughts of suicide.
I am not emo.
I am not a freak.
I am me.

My mother attempted suicide about six months ago.
My sister attempted suicide when i was eight.
But, I am not a victim.
I am not tortured.
I am me.

My father had a heart attack just over a week ago.
He was hospitalized for nine days.
He recently returned to the hospital for kidney problems.
I suffer from Bipolar Disorder with Psychotic Features.
I have hallucinations.
I have delusions.
But I am not a disorder.
I am not my difficulties.
I am not my troubles.

So What Do I Do?If only I could read your mind
If only I could interpret you emotions
Understand what you're going through
See through your eyes
Hear through your ears
Feel through your heart
If only I knew how to help you

But I can't
And I don't
And it's killing me
So what do I do?

I'm sorry that I have no talent,

In a Little Girl's MindThere sits the girl with the things in her eyes
Monsters, destruction, and sweet butterflies
Hopscotch and daisies, surrounded by screams
Beautiful dresses now torn at the seams
Crayons and paintbrushes, villains and grins
Young, gladsome innocence, hatred and sins
Little red houses on roads left to fade
Gorgeous moonlight shining off of the blade
Blood pouring out as she cries her own name
Knowing she's forced to take each bit of blame
She could have stopped it and left it behind
All of these things in her troubled young mind
She could have saved them if she dared to try
Rather, though, she left herself there to die.

The moon stood there, hidden by sweet lullabies.

But mommy was crying, her day had been hard
The tears in her eyes twinkled just like the stars.

Her face wasn't happy like it should have been
And though she was saddened, she forcefully grinned.

I wanted to see Mommy smile through it all...
I painted a picture on her bedroom walls.

I told her to look, just to come in and see
But Mommy was angry... she wasn't happy.

She threw me down hard on the cold wooden floor
Then picked me up, slamming my head on the door.

She yelled and she screamed, then she hit me once more
She slapped me till I couldn't see a

((Those last two lines spread a shiver down my spine. I rarely get that reaction from poetry but when I do, I know I've read something work reading. I'm amazed by all your poetic skill and this is no exception. Those last two lines really struck me, because of how much this relates to me. I wish I could say something less cliche, but keep doing what you're doing and don't give up!))

another genius work of yours.. i also experienced to be bullied but not that harsh as whats in your work. i believed that every child experience to be bullied and it makes every child to be stronger.. i just noticed that many of your works shows pains and sadness, i just want to advice, make a work with an optimistic side but i still like "Bully" great!
