I love the little baby that I never got to hold
The baby that I never got to see.
And maybe, just maybe that baby would love us, too
If only that baby got to be.
I love the little baby that was never able to smile
Never even able to survive.
And maybe that baby would have a life worth living
If only that baby was alive.
And maybe that baby had mommy's blue eyes
And daddy's smile, and grandma's tight hugs.
And honestly, there's no way to describe that little baby
And no way to describe the way it was loved.

Daddy
Daddy,
aren't you proud of me?
Haven't I done enough Daddy?
Am I not your little girl?
Daddy,
I'm sorry I'm not perfect,
but can you please come back?
I promise I'll do better.
I promise I can be perfect.
Daddy,
Don't you love me?
Look I drew you a picture,
will you come home now?
Daddy?
Where did you go?
Please come back.
Mommy says you don't care anymore
but I know it's not true.
It can't be true.
Daddy,
You don't even call anymore.
You said you loved me
and that I was your princess,
then why aren't you here?
Daddy,
Please come home.
I want my Daddy back.

You Don't Know Your Daughter At All
Just because she is no longer in a cradle
Does not mean that your baby wont fall
And if you think that her smile means she is happy
Then you don’t know your daughter at all
On arriving home from school she runs up the stairs
And locks herself away in her room
It’s so easy to think that it’s just teenage angst
That will pass in time and be gone soon
Perhaps you assume that it is just boy trouble
A romance that will soon be forgot
Yes, maybe her problems are just a passing phase
But then again what if they are not
What if they’re deep rooted in the parental soil
That you’ve been failing to cultivate
As she grow

I'm Such An Insecure Diaperbaby That I Passive-Agg
I always wanted to be that girl.
Pretty, clever, friendly.
Everywhere she goes, she has a big smile.
Everyone loves her.
Clear white skin.
Sporty, long blonde curls,
And flawless blue eyes.
She's a princess.
Confident, loves her true love.
Everything is easy for her.
And I remember when I was young,
With darkening hair,
Tripping on the stair,
I can remember dressing in pink,
Trying to please everyone.
Because I needed to be that girl.
The devil refused my soul.
I would cry at night and say,
'Princess, princess, deep inside.'
'Come to me on a turning tide,'
'And let me be you.'
Wasted days trying to be that cool kid.

A beautiful, yet sad poem. It brought tears to my eyes. I am sorry for you're loss, and hope you're family is well.
You did a very beautiful job writing this, many people can relate and share this grievous experience in life, and that's what made a big impact in you're poem. Situations like this always make a big impact on me, including you're technique and you're writing style, you really made the poem flow like water and hit its mark home in expressing and getting you're point across nice and clear.
Losing a child is always hard, I can't even begin to imagine. You expressed the pain and love in the poem beautifully, you made it sound and even feel as though the person reading it was the one who was feeling the emotion. At least that's the way it felt for me when reading your poem.
