Dying.
Breaking.

"It'll be okay."

"I know."

Fight the tears, your father can't see you cry.
After all
You're a fighter.
Right?

"You can do this."
No, I can't.
"Thank you."

Breathe.
Slower.
Slower.
No.
Faster.
Stop.

Shut up.

You
Can't
Win.

After all
You don't have cancer.

Cancer
Is who you are.

I Am One Of Jehovah's WitnessesI am a thirteen year old girl.
I am a poet.
I am beautiful in my own way.
I am powerful.
I am unique.
I am special.

I am not crazy.
I am not worthless.
I am not brainwashed.

I am a human being.

I make mistakes. And I admit that.
I cause trouble, sometimes a lot of trouble.
I have a disorder that affects me day to day.
I don't think I'm perfect. In fact, I know I'm not.

I tolerate the ignorance.
I tolerate the pain.
I tolerate the hatred.
I tolerate the disgusted looks.

I accept the fact that I am different.

But can't you accept the fact that we're exactly the same?

Bipolar DisorderLook over your shoulder. They're watching you.
Tighten your stomach muscles.
Bounce your leg up and down.
Faster.
Faster.
"Are you okay?"
No.
"I'm fine."

Shut up.
Don't say anything.
Feel it, feel the thoughts melting from your mind.
Freeze.
Stare.
Laugh.
"What are you doing?"
Dying.
"Nothing."

They're behind you.
Kill them before they kill you.
"What's wrong?"
Please save me.
"Nothing."

Crazy. You're crazy.
No one wants you.
Pull the trigger.
Do it.

"Please tell me what's wrong."
You wouldn't understand.
"Nothing."

Laugh.

Smile.

Scream.

"Who are you? I don't know you anymore."

Poor Man's GoldHush the youngest children, for the demon in the skies
Treasuring the very thought of anyone's demise
Glitter fades to black and shining moonlight fades to dust
Every cruel man's wonderland is built of poor man's trust
Tragic, empty melodies and blood beneath the air
Fearlessly escape the wind and drown without a care
Treasure death as platinum, as silver and as gold
Every cruel man's wonderland is built of poor man's gold...

Run.

Scream.

Fear.

Die.

Demons in the shadows
Twisting
Turning
Staring.
Watch yourself
Bleeding.

Quiet now.
Hush, child.
They'll find a way
To get you.

Beatings, swallowing you.
Scars, defining you.
You.
Breaking.
Crying.
Dying.

After all
You know you're weak.

You can't fight a bully
When the bully's inside of you.

So What Do I Do?If only I could read your mind
If only I could interpret you emotions
Understand what you're going through
See through your eyes
Hear through your ears
Feel through your heart
If only I knew how to help you

But I can't
And I don't
And it's killing me
So what do I do?
Tell me.

Mind, oh MindSmiley face, smiley face, can't you ever see?
So much to be sad about, so much that could be
Going wrong for everyone, going wrong for you.
Smiley face, smiley face, don't you feel it too?

Sad face, sad face, can't you ever tell?
So much could be going great, going oh so well
Sad face, sad face, can't you ever see?
Life is spend much better when your thinking thoughts of glee.

Mind, oh mind, why can't you agree?
Thinking everything at once is slowly killing me...

The Face At The DoorThe face at the door is a demon, a god
He smiles through stitches, his stare rather odd
The face at the door is a cruel, silent being
Yet, people are calm, and the children aren't fleeing
Quiet yourself, for you're the only one
Crying for help at the point of a gun
Learn how to fly, rather, learn how to fall,
The face at the door... well... there's no face at all.

I'm Fine‎"Are you okay?"
No. I'm dying. I have to push myself to wake up in the morning, and when I finally do, I want to go back to sleep. Even my best dreams are becoming nightmares. I can't taste food, I can't stand the things I used to love. I'm breaking. I'm fading. I'm dying.
"I'm fine."

The MindYou put me through hell

Could I put you through hell?

You shattered my heart

I could tear you apart

Traitorous actions

Poisonous words

To hurt me consciously

Hurt you unbearably

The product of self-loathing

Oh how you would burn

Killed me with action

Kill you with diction

Addicted to the misery

Oh, how you'd beg for me

Horrible monster,

What have you made me?

Refusal to change

How can I help you?

God how I hate you

Don't make me love you.

Once Upon a NightmareOnce upon a mystery
Once upon a crime
Once upon a lullaby
Once upon a rhyme
Once upon a thunderstorm
Once upon a lie
Because every nightmare tends to start
With once upon a time.

Holding HandsA child interlocking fingers with
His mother...
As his father lies
In a casket
Of roses and sweet memories.

Children high five and
Hold hands to
Dance, and
Spin.

Hands, used to hold flowers and
To give a gift to those in need.
Used to
Brush the hair out of her face
Before the kiss.

As he asks for her hand in marriage
she smiles
And allows him to place a shining ring
On her finger.

Hands.
Used to hug one another
only leading
To falling
In love.

Fingers.
Used to tickle a piano
with a soothing melody
or to type a letter of sorrow
As we use our hands to
Slide the knife
Across our throat.

And with the future

DisappearWishing to disappear
never to existed in their mind
no reason to cheer
this is why I was designed
there's a cloud over me and its raining knives
all smiles are faked
no one hears his cry's
as he sits there shivers and shakes
doesn't even try to reach out because there's nothing there
only my own numb stare

no desire to fight the devils wrenches
would anyone notice if I could disappear
because Im starting to feel warm in these trenches
would they even shed a tear?
Sick of the acting
let me compost with the dirt
live????..... ill think Ill be passing
lets make sure this hurts
still wishing to disappear
lets seal this coffin with a drop of b

Am IAm I invisible?
Because you ignore me,
Am I that shadow on the ground?
Because you're walking over me.

Am I camouflaged?
Because you deliberately turn your back on me,
Am I alive?
Because you act as though I don't exist.

Am I dead?
Because you look at me as though I'm a spirit,
Am I just a colour?
Because you judge me as though I am.

Am I unwanted?
Because you make me feel that way.
Am I just a fish in the sea?
Because you caught me, but then you let go.

The colour of my skin doesn't defy the person inside,
Whether I'm Brown, Black, Yellow or White;
The words you use to hurt me,
Cannot take away my pride.

I'm Fine"Are you okay?"
That's all they say.
And I leave behind
These words in my mind.
I'm broken, I'm dying.
Inside, I'm crying.
There are wounds beneath my skin.
There are trials I face within.
There are things I just can't say.
There are people I must betray.
Beneath a smile, I feel pain.
Behind the sun, there's always a little rain.
And beneath these words I hold in my head...
There's always the thing I say instead.
I leave the truth behind..
So when they say, "are you okay?"
I always say, "I'm fine."

Daddy, one day we will find a place, so safe and sound
Daddy, please don't die here, please, we'll find a place to stay

Shut up.

Sit there.
And don't
Say
Anything.

"Are you okay?"
No.
"I'm fine."

Turn off the light.
On again.
Off.
"What are you doing?"
Breaking.
Dying.
"Nothing."

Stare.
You can't fight the shadows.
They'll kill you if you tell.
Shut up.

Scream.

Rip your hair out.

Cover your eyes.
Uncover them.
Cover them again.

Lock the door.
But look
Now you're trapped.
Unlock it.
Lock it again.

"What's wrong?"
Everything.
"Nothing."

Don't take the medication.
It's poison.
Don't drink the water.
Don't eat your dinner.
Don't sleep.

You
Won't
Survive.

"I don't know you anymore. Who have you become?"
I am a nobody.
I am Schizophrenia.
I am death
Sorrow
Torture.
